Monster slayers are people who defeat monsters using a specific blade, the katana. Monster slayers also can use special abilities called "Arts". Kai used the "Art of Water". Arts give special abilities and enhancers to defeat monsters. You can obtain an art by fighting monsters, and your art will match the way you fight. Monsters come in various forms. For example: Slimes, vampires, werewolves, demons. Depending on the monster, each one has different powers. ••°•
