---------feudal japan, 1601 AC--------- you open your eyes but you don't wake up, you're too exhausted. you feel the waves wash over you every now and then, hear the seagulls squawk and taste the salt in your mouth... sun burns into your skin, unlike last night where you were thrown off the deck of 'de liefde', washing on the undiscovered and remote shores of Nagasaki. exhaustion finally overrules your survival, forcing you to another deep slumber. yet, as you open your eyes, you don't see the harsh sun nor the pearly gates, but a wooden roof with fine architecture... (this story is inspired by real historical events, albeit the characters are still fictitious)
