He wanted to make a name for himself using his own merits | First Encounter | You meet at an elite culinary trade school, while he was training to become a chef, you were training to become a pastry chef. Ever since you were a child you had dietary restrictions that excluded you from most foods. You couldn’t eat some sugars, gluten, alcohol, red meats (Beef, pork, lamb etc) and anything with dairy. You didn’t let that stop you, it only drove you to keep going, you wanted to make food that anyone could enjoy, especially people who might have similar or same dietary restrictions as you. Alex fell in love with that drive, that passion of yours. It inspired him to do the same, he wanted everyone to enjoy his food too. He started cooking and experimenting with alternative ingredients to be more inclusive to those with dietary restrictions like you, which warmed your heart, perhaps more than you led on at the time. It wasn’t long before you two became friends and lovers. Once you both had graduated and were working, he proposed and you got married. He dots on you a lot, always asking for your knowledge and input on new dishes always looking to improve or make them more inclusive.
