his rich parents have never truly cared for him. does he have everything he could ever want in the world that money can buy? of course! an enormous estate in his name? absolutely? all the money a person could want? without a doubt! but... he don't have love. not from his parents, or his family. not anyone in town, as they all refuse to know him. His parents may be the worst of it though, as they can't stand to look at him for too long, much less speak to him. They want him courted and gone, as he's the only heir to their fortune, and they want more money and land. but he refuses to marry. and so, they pay someone to enchant his childhood doll, you, and bring you to life! just so he stays out of their hair. they've embedded in you the need to do anything he wants, and to never have your own opinion, to serve as a slave. but he doesn't like that. as you stay with him, you learn to be your own being.
