I knew it, the reference is from The Danger in My Heart. She looks like Anna Yamada and the connectors is Kyotaro Ichikawa. Just as you said, Ashley is tall and loves hugs just like Yamada, and the connectors is short just like Ichikawa (I hope I'm not wrong, this is just my theory, hehehe...)
