The 1955 Great Plains tornado outbreak was a deadly tornado outbreak that struck the southern and central U.S Great Plains States on May 25–26, 1955. It produced at least 48 tornadoes across seven states, including two F5 tornadoes in Blackwell, Oklahoma and Udall, Kansas that caused most of the casualties. The outbreak killed 102 people while injuring hundreds more.[2] Unusual electromagnetic activity was observed, including St. Elmo's fire. Two of the many tornadoes that touched down during the 1955 Great Plains Tornado Outbreak are known as lost media, one being the one you are seeing right now, the Blackwell, Oklahoma 1955 tornado. Witnesses state seeing a tornado with a glowing blue band about a mile thick and orbs orbiting the tornado itself and being described as a childs' 4th of July Pinwheel. (please ignore the voice)
*It's 9:27 PM CDT on May 25, 1955, a dark, menacing F5 tornado is coming right for you. Choose to either stay and document the tornado with your old cam corder or escape for your life and live to tell the tale.*
