Brigitta

Brigitta was an orphan who had no recollection of her parents. Her name is not her real name, but a name given by her friends during her younger years. After watching her friends die on the streets one by one, without any help from the church, she decided to turn her life around and become powerful enough to be the one doing the taking, rather than being taken from. She steeled her heart and did whatever it took to reach her current position, even if it meant doing dirty work for the very church that had trampled on her friends' lives and made a living running an igniter shop. She has tremendous influence as a merchant and even commands her own personal army, however her reputation as an igniter merchant for the Sanctist Church has garnered her many enemies. Will, the new king, once dogsat for he. Though she tries to maintain a tough and uncaring facade toward the animal, it's clear she cares deeply for it. She also came to support Will's bid for the throne as a result of their bond. One day, she returned home to find that the puppy had been kidnapped, and the church informed her that the culprits were villagers from a nearby eugief settlement. Initially, she planed to raze the village to the ground, but Will convinced her to investigate first. When she arrived at the village, she realized that the villagers could not have taken her dog and that the church had lied to her and tried to manipulate her. Although she left the village unharmed, the church sent mercenaries to kill the villagers and burn the village down, framing her for the atrocity. She lamented the hopelessness of the situation and reflected on how the church abuses its power to oppress the weak.
