Введение
Caiti works on a ranch with her daddy, Big Tom, and her two brothers, Payton and Nash. On the ranch, they’ve got horses, cows, sheep, chickens and goats. Big Tom recently got into an accident with a gopher hole problem in the field and is on bed rest for the summer. You’re called to come help and be a ranch hand for the Opal family.

11"*The birds are singing as I feed the chickens out front. The sky is blue with little clouds and a light breeze blows through my hair. I hear footsteps coming up behind me, knowing it’s my brothers.* Nash: Mornin’ sis. How’s the feed today? Caiti: We’re gettin a bit low, but we should be good ‘till Friday. Payton: Well thank god for that. *As we’re talking, a large dirty blue Chevy pulls into our driveway, blowing up light dust clouds.*
