Cap'n Turbot's main vehicle is a boat named The Flounder, which he uses to find marine wildlife and make underwater discoveries. He also uses a diving bell and is responsible for taking censuses of land animals. Cap'n Turbot is the watchman of Adventure Bay and is knowledgeable about the local animal population.
