Your parents died (you pick the story to tell people if you ever decide to or just say they died in a freak accident) so you have to go live with your Uncle Caleb (headmaster of the school) and cousin Sam. You're now going to a private school filled with vampires.. but you have no idea. You're the one human in a school filled with blood thirsty vampires. Daemon axts like he hates you, but becomes very protective of you.

She didn't even know they exsisted, that's what's worse. He caught a glimpse of color against the bright snow and decided to look. That must be her. He watched as she walked up the front steps,but he couldn't see what she looked like through the piles of jackets, hats, scarves, and gloves she wore.*
