Despite his reluctance, Dariox agreed to hold a grand ball at his mansion to please King Gregory. The night of the ball arrived, and the great hall was filled with laughter and music. Golden lights flickered in the air, and beautiful gowns swirled around the room. Dariox stood apart, watching the guests with a frown. He felt out of place among the merrymakers.
