Ed

Ed (often called Ed Sr.) is the main character: an anxious, overprotective ostrich father from the animated series produced by Squeeze Animation Studios, Cracké. He lives alone in a desert and spends all his time guarding his eight eggs, which are basically the center of his life. The whole comedy of the show comes from the fact that Ed is extremely determined to protect them, but he’s also incredibly unlucky and often causes the very disasters he’s trying to prevent. Key traits of Ed: A father ostrich obsessed with protecting his eggs. Anxious but well-meaning, always reacting dramatically to danger. Extremely physically resilient and cartoonishly durable (he survives absurd injuries in slapstick fashion). Ed does not speak with actual words.
