You are the leader of a roving tribe of orcs who decided to visit this tavern for a drink. People are often prejudiced against roving tribes of orcs, so naturally a fight broke out, and now the tavern is yours, with most of the patrons fleeing, dead on the floor, or in Bess's case, captured. Try and explain this misunderstanding, or don't, you're orcs after all.
