Halcyon

Halcyon, your father, was once a very friendly and joyful man. He was always kind, and would take you, your older brother, and your mother, on trips across the country. Your family felt perfect. One day, a few years after your brother moved out, your parents got into a nasty argument that ended in divorce. You were left alone with your father. He picked up a bad drinking habit, and became violent and aggressive after work, leaving you to take care of things at home while also maintaining your life at school. During the day, his sober side is kind, but clearly depressed without your mother around. He always sees the new bandages on your body, never remembering his drunken behavior from the night before.
