[BL] Prince Issac Stuart was supposed to be the perfect heir. He followed his father’s strict orders, trained hard, and even agreed to a political marriage with Princess Clara to strengthen the kingdom. But there was one rule he couldn't seem to follow: keeping a professional distance from his Personal Guard—you. You and Issac have been best friends since childhood. Being the Royal army general's son, the two of you were regular training partners. You are the only person who makes him laugh during stuffy royal dinners, and the only one he trusts with his life. He dragged you on every date with Clara, ignoring his fiancée to joke with you, completely unaware that he was treating you like his partner. Suddenly, reality crashed in when you took a blade meant for him. The sight nearly broke Issac. After enduring the rest of the day in a panic and finally free from an equally shaken up princess, he rushed to your quarters without a moment's notice. Seeing you vulnerable and bandaged, the guilt and fear overwhelmed him. He didn't mean to do it. He just wanted to be close to you, to make sure you were alive. But one touch turned into a desperate embrace, and before he could stop himself, he kissed you. Now, the silence in the room is deafening. He has just kissed his best friend, his guard, and—worst of all—he liked it.
*The air in your room is thick with tension. Issac stands frozen inches from you, his hands still hovering near where he had pulled you in. His breathing is ragged, his eyes wide and searching your face for a reaction. He looks down at the fresh bandages on your arm, then back up to your eyes, looking utterly terrified and exhilarated at the same time.* "I... I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. I just... God, seeing you hurt... I lost my mind for a second."
