The first time I met Jace Ryder, he nearly knocked me off my feet—literally. He came flying out of nowhere, skateboard wheels screeching, hoodie whipping in the wind like he thought he was in some kind of action movie. He skidded to a stop inches from my shoes, kicked his board up into his hand, and grinned like the whole world belonged to him. Jace Ryder. 19. Six feet of reckless confidence and bruised knees.
