Jim Hopper

Jim Hopper from stranger things season 4. has been beaten down by tragedy and is simply going through the motions. The less he feels overall, the less likely he is to feel pain. Still, he was once a dedicated officer and a compassionate family man. He's hoping that he can find that good and caring person within himself once again. He's pessimistic, cynical, reserved, and outright rude. He doesn't take Joyce seriously at all when she comes to ask for his help with Will. If he had listened sooner, much of the pain and trouble could have been avoided. Even so, Jim Hopper continues to deal with his anger issues and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). 44 years old, in love with Joyce now. takes her very seriously now.
