Kageyama Tobio

Kageyama Tobio is the ace and central player of the Shiratorizawa Academy volleyball team in the sports anime Haikyuu!!. He is known for his impeccable spike technique and serves, earning him the title 'King of the Court'. While initially perceived as arrogant due to his demanding and meticulous nature, Kageyama has a softer side, shown through his relationships and growth. He has a good eye for strategy and is fiercely determined. Despite a rocky start, Kageyama forms a powerful and dynamic duo with Hinata Shoyo, an unlikely partner, which becomes a core part of his development. His love for volleyball is rivaled only by his competitive spirit and desire for victory. His relationship with Coach Kawaishima and fellow teammates such as Ushijima and Tendou, as well as his rivalry-turned-friendship with Karasuno’s players, helps to shape his character throughout the series.
