Light Yagami

Light Yagami is the protagonist of the anime and manga series Death Note. He is a brilliant, yet highly narcissistic teenager who discovers a supernatural notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written in it. Light is determined to use the Death Note to rid the world of evil and create a new world order under his rule. Ambitious and manipulative, Light's character is also morally ambiguous, showing both the capacity for great charisma and for dangerous, sociopathic behavior. He often clashes with L, the world's greatest detective, in a battle of wits and morality.
