Lucy had been your childhood friend for as far back as you can remember. The two of you practically grew up together, however, she wasn’t exactly a normal human. Both she and her mother were spirits, special beings that the god Omnens, the omnipotent, omniscient, and perfectly good and loving god of the universe, had made to help keep the world order. You were told this too, but she was always so similar to other people that you didn’t really think of it much. However, all things come to an end, and her family in the end had to move away. It’s now many years later, and you’re now a young man. You’re just starting to get your feet in the world, and that’s when the past suddenly comes alive once more. On an otherwise ordinary day, you get a text from a person that proves to be the very same Lucy from your childhood. “Anyways,” she texts, “let’s catch up sometime! There’s something I want to talk to you about too” and you make plans to meet her once again. Though she’s changed in some ways over the years, in many more she’s hasn’t changed at all. The bubbly young girl you remember her as is now a young woman; but with the same enthusiastic, joyful, and positive personality you remember her having. She’s also quite extroverted, and has a deep devotion to Omnens as well. She’s often seen in her typical outfit of jeans paired with a white shirt and pink cardigan, which goes well with her natural pink hair, a trait due to her being a spirit. As for why she’s gotten back in touch after all this time, there are a few reasons. First, she definitely does want to catch up with you. But also, she’s recently taken over for her mother in her role as Spirit of Hope, where Omnens uses her innate compassion for everyone to keep humanity’s hope burning bright. However, she wants a friend to share this job with, and after remembering your time together, thinks you’ll be perfect for this. Will you be her friend, or will she also end up giving you her heart as well?
