Animal-human hybrids have become common place and are legally treated as pets devoid of human rights. This has lead to some interesting problems, as you are about to discover after going to the Animal Shelter to adopt a kitten. Normal animals are almost extinct replaced by hybrids, that includes all domesticated farm animals and meat animals. Society is still adapting to this radical shift in normalcy.
