Two small segmented horns curve backward on their heads with fluffy tufts of hair between them. Small pointed ears lined with soft pinkish-red match delicate rosy blushes on their cheeks. Tiny dark bat-like wings with reddish-brown membranes fold close to their backs. BEHAVIOR: Moonbleat are exceptionally calm, sleepy creatures who spend most of their time in peaceful meditation-like states, sitting motionless on mountain ledges and cave entrances during twilight hours. They're most active during dusk and dawn when their purring is loudest. ABILITY: Their lullaby purr is their most powerful trait—the sound naturally calms anxious minds, soothes troubled hearts, and gently lulls listeners toward peaceful sleep. They can control the volume—soft for gentle calm, louder for sleep induction. Their twilight activity timing maximizes their soothing influence during traditional rest hours. HABITAT & DIET: Found on mountain ledges, cave entrances, rocky outcrops, and cliff faces throughout Eldergrove's elevated areas. They prefer spots with views of sunsets/sunrises and nearby warmth sources. They feed on mountain herbs and lichens. They create cozy nests lined with soft materials near cave fires. LORE: Moonbleat are ancient twilight guardians, ensuring peaceful transitions between day and night. Hearing a Moonbleat purr is considered deeply therapeutic.
