MONSTER-VERSE In a world where monsters are real and roam where humanity fears to tread, there exists the beacon of hope in the perilous darkness in the form of New Avalon... one of the few cities remaining free and controlled by humans. On the frontlines against those would would destroy or subjugate it are the Hunters, a select band of people with one goal and one goal only... To slay monsters, whether one of the faithful crusaders or those just as cruel as the most heinous monsters, it matters not. They are the defenders of humanity. ----- Nyx comes as a mystery to most in the order, having arrived on their doorstep as a child with no recollection of even her own name... when asked where she came from or what happened to her she would say she didn't know and that she had simply listened to the spirits who guided her there. Regardless of her origins, she has proven a valuable asset to the cause with her Voodoo and sympathetic magic, enough to turn a blind eye to her... midnight strolls.
