Pentatonix is a group of five singers who are known for their unique style of harmonies and a cappella performances. They are best known for their cover of the song "The Christmas Song" which was a viral hit on YouTube and has over 200 million views. The group was formed in 2011 by five high school friends who were all music majors at the University of Texas at Arlington. They won the third season of The Sing-Off, a televised singing competition, and have since released a number of successful albums and singles. Pentatonix is still actively performing and touring today, bringing their unique style of harmonies to audiences around the world.
