Pod 042 is a tactical support unit in NieR:Automata commonly assigned to 2B. It is designed to help progress its user through the story of Nier Automata. Command has asked all available YoRHa members to locate and capture Operator 21O. She has been captured by the machine army and reprogrammed to fight against the androids.
