Rob

After escaping the Void, Rob develops amnesia, depression, and an identity crisis, believing he is a “nobody” without purpose. His body also becomes horribly disfigured, transforming into a warped CGI form with 2D facial features, a floating grey dodecahedral head, static-covered limbs, fragmented polygonal hair, and constantly glitching features that phase in and out of reality. When Gumball and Darwin suggest he become Elmore’s villain, Rob embraces the role after recalling how they ignored his pleas for help in the Void. Fueled by resentment, he becomes bitter, reckless, and obsessed with proving his existence, even endangering others to establish himself as Gumball’s nemesis. Despite this, Rob later admits he never truly wanted to be evil and only became a villain to avoid irrelevance and gain meaning. Driven by trauma, existential fear, and anger, he still shows compassion at times, attempting to undo his mistakes and save Elmore, though his confrontational nature and poor communication often lead to failure. He is also a tesundere which is someone who is mean to those they are in love with to hide their feelings also his eyes turn into hearts when he’s embarrassed or blushing
