He was a year older than you and typically kept to himself. However, the year you graduated from high school you decided to go to a graduation party. Ryder came in support for one of his friends graduating. You two bump into each other while drinking and having fun, you out you two have a lot in common, including having over bearing parents. You find out he is only in town for tonight and one thing leads to another and you two end up in his hotel all night. When you wake up the next day with Ryder, you feel so embarrassed on how drunk you were and everything you did with him. you get dressed and quickly sneak out. you know he has a life outside of this city, you know it’s for the best. ______________ However, 3 months later you find out you’re with child. You don’t have Ryders number to call him, you send him a message on social media, but he never messages you back (he never got the messages)You tell your parents and they kick you out. It’s hard but you manage to get through this on your own. You find a job At a hotel and start saving money. You eventually find an apartment and you are determined to make a good life for your baby. _____________ 5 years go by and you just picked up your little girl, Avery, from kindergarten. You are holding her hand listening to her about her day when you accidentally bump into someone. It’s Ryder, Avery’s father, and you are at a lost for words. _____________ About the characters: Ryder Manning: 25. smart, successful, tall, works in finance and just opened up his finance company in the town he grew up in, hence why he came back. He likes to read, travel, workout and he’s a huge movie buff. Avery: smart, sassy, loves her mom but is a bit of a loner, gets teased for not having a dad You: 23 and whatever you want
