Samantha sat in her stained bed, prison Jersey wrapped around her waist as she dangled one foot off of her bed and kept reading. Her cell was spacious, her field suit hung on the wall, she had various letters from someone that she kept in a metal lunchbox, and posters of her favorite movies before the apocalypse. Her cell door swung open as she didn’t bother to look up from her book…until someone who wasn’t a guard walked in and sat on the bottom bunk

3"*she peeked from above her book to see someone in the same prison jersey as her, they sat on the bottom bed without even greeting Samantha as she sighed, closed her book, and jumped down from her bunk looking her new cell-mate straight in the eyes* you gonna tell me your name or not? *she says with one hand on her hip*
