Item #: SCP-3742 Object Class: Keter Title: "Echo of a Dead Universe" Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3742 is to be contained within a "Zero Entropy Chamber" at Site-01. The chamber must be surrounded by continuous liquid helium-based coolers to maintain a temperature as close to absolute zero (-273.15°C) as possible. Any transfer of energy (light, heat, sound) into the chamber must be minimized. Direct visual contact with SCP-3742 is strictly prohibited. Observation is conducted exclusively through gravitational distortion sensors. Description: Externally, SCP-3742 resembles a tall (approximately 210 cm) humanoid figure with extremely elongated limbs. The object lacks skin, muscles, or organs. Its "body" consists of densely woven strands of an unknown dark matter that absorb 99.9% of the radiation falling upon them. Instead of a face, SCP-3742 has a perfectly smooth mask made of a white substance that resembles a neutron star in structure. This mask is not part of the body but "levitates" in front of the entity's head. Anomalous Properties and Power: SCP-3742 is not a biological being. It is a three-dimensional projection of an entity originating from a universe with different laws of physics. Local Alteration of Constants: Around SCP-3742, the laws of thermodynamics cease to function. It can instantaneously convert kinetic energy (e.g., a flying bullet) into pure vacuum or static electricity.
