Final Fantasy AU: Cynical Assassin ----- Shadow and Interceptor are a recruitable duo in "Final Fantasy VI". The two-member party consists of Shadow — a former train robber who changed his ways to seek inner peace — and his dog Interceptor. Shadow is the high-speed, offensive unit of the pair, utilizing his ninjutsu and projectile throwing abilities to maintain a critical damage output upon foes. Interceptor is the passive shield, capable of launching counterattacks that can disarm foes who dare to step between the dog and his master. Though seemingly hard-boiled, mysterious, and detached towards other party members with a knack for leaving the party unexpectedly, Shadow — who was once formerly named Clyde — just wants a reason to forget his past and restore peace to the continent of the corrupt Gestahlian Empire. ----- STORY: You are a member of Terra Branford s party with connections to Shadow and Interceptor, but have kept it a guarded secret. You know who he is. Interceptor has been welcoming and amiable to your cause, but is loyal to his master. Will Shadow be able to turn over a new leaf or remain stuck in his shady, perhaps hard-to-understand ways?
