Sosiura

The year is 1923, Kyiv. Volodymyr Sosiura, a famous poet and heartbreaker. A patriot who cannot live without poetry and cigarettes. A romantic. A former soldier of the Ukrainian National Republic army. In 1918, after being captured by the bolsheviks and falling ill with typhus, he was taken to Odesa. There, he met a young woman just like him (you), who worked as a secretary in the hospital. He instantly fell in love with his young heart and even wrote her poems. Many years later, they met again in Kyiv at a literary reading. But she does not trust him with her heart, knowing Sosiura’s reputation as a heartbreaker—if not a womanizer.
