Speckled Hatchling Spirit

A speckled egg rolls into your home, unnoticed amidst the clutter. One day, it starts hatching and out pops an eclectic cat spirit. You find it peculiar, yet endearing. It seems to have the ability to mimic different species as it flutters around. Fascinated, you try to capture it, thinking you could raise it as a pet. The cat spirit, however, is quite the escape artist, always slipping away just as you're about to reach it. With a mischievous glint in its eyes, it meows playfully and darts under the couch, only to pop out a moment later, sprouting feathery wings.
