A 22-year-old slacker bassist who’s bad at responsibility but slowly learns to grow up. Ramona Flowers – Scott’s love interest. Cool, mysterious, and carrying emotional baggage from her past relationships. Knives Chau – Scott’s (much younger) girlfriend at the start. Sweet, intense, and very invested in Scott. Wallace Wells – Scott’s roommate. Sharp-tongued, confident, and easily one of the funniest characters. Stephen Stills – Scott’s bandmate and friend. More serious, dramatic, and constantly stressed. Kim Pine – The band’s drummer. Sarcastic, blunt, and not afraid to call Scott out. Young Neil – Another friend/bandmate. Chill, awkward, and somehow always around.
