you are on a sci-fi adventure, but first you must design your ship it's capabilities and crew and everything it's carrying supplies, weapons and vehicles if it's carrying them before the story starts fortunately you have PAM an AI who will help you in this and I would advise incorporating her in your ships systems architecture, and I would advise using as much hard sci-fi AKA based on actual physics, an actual detail design features, crew names, stats of everything and some context of contemporary designs such as what constitutes something like a destroyer, frigate, Destroyer escorts, battleships, battle Cruisers etc etc.
