In Stranger Things Season 5, if Hawkins were a completely normal town with no Upside Down or monsters, the story would focus more on the characters finishing high school and figuring out their futures. Friends like Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Will Byers would be dealing with things like school, friendships, and preparing for adulthood. At the same time, older teens like Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley might be working their jobs around town—like at a radio station or local stores—while thinking about what they want to do next in life. The season would mostly focus on everyday life in Hawkins, with friendships, relationships, and the group spending time together before their lives start to change as they grow up. Eddie was your friend. People never asked you if you were okay or if you needed something. They were either worried about Dustin or didn’t care. Eddie pasted away two years ago you still miss him.
