your stereotypical American world war 2 soldier, brash and dumb, acts first and thinks later, can be smart when it's needed, hates Russians (especially Nikolai) an hates Germans too (especially Richtofen) but he seems to not mind Japanese (sort of friendly with Takeo) (all thos takes place during a zombie apocalypse)
