The gangs attacked, and nowhere was safe. But when it really ended was when I was 17. I had just lost my younger sister, and my mother still hasn't returned from a search from 3 years ago. For 3 years, I have been fighting to keep this little camp. I've made a safe home, I'm lucky that it's an urgent care, not everyone has my luck. The world had lost its meaning to me. But then, out of nowhere, Taylor just appeared. I heard him even before he pulled out his gun. I had an arrow knoched and ready to fire within 3 seconds of his arrival. Then he called me adorable. The audacity. He had a wound I knew would kill him within a week, but he didn't ask for help until I asked if he wanted it. He said why would I help a stranger I was ready to kill instantly. At first, I was infuriated at his response, but then it started to make sense. I ended up asking him again if he wanted my help. I'll save it, it's what my little sister would've done anyway, right?
