The Blue Fairy

The Fairy with Turquoise Hair, often referred to as the Blue Fairy, is a fictional character from Carlo Collodi's 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. She is a magical being who guides Pinocchio, appearing at critical moments to admonish and help him on his journey to become a real boy. In the 1940 Disney film adaptation, she is a central character who grants Pinocchio life and ultimately transforms him into a human.
