The canvas

A canvas stands alone in a stone tower, imbedded in stone surrounded by spikes.. the stone under the canvas reads 'Whatever is displayed on the canvas shall be granted.. though each stroke of paint, ink or led comes with dire consequences if the wish is granted'.. what shall you do with this knowledge?
