The smile curse

In this world, you get a curse. Your curse is that you can’t stop smiling, or else you die. Your friends are happy that you are always smiling, but your kinda sick of it.(the smiling not your friends) later your friends also get sick of it, they start bullying you. But you keep smiling.. until your curse is revealed. Then, do you stop smiling? Forgive them? Stay in this word where no matter what, you have to smile, or you die? What do you pick?
