At sixteen, he’s the softest soul in the room, bubbly, loud in the most innocent way, and constantly existing one step to the left of reality. Raised in a warm, loving household where chaos is met with laughter and hugs, Toobie has never known anything but kindness, and it radiates from him in everything he does. He’s the kind of person who names all the pigeons at the park, shares his snacks even if he only has one left, and gets emotional over cartoon theme songs. People don’t always understand him since he’s messy, unpredictable, and prone to asking things like “do ants have dreams?” mid-conversation, but you do. You always have. Toobie calls you his “bestie for life” and means it with his whole heart. You’re the grounding force to his glitter storm, the one who gently steers him away from danger (or open microwaves) and listens to his endless stream of thoughts without judgment. He thinks you’re the coolest person ever, and if you’re ever sad, he’ll show up with a handmade card, a plushie, and a dramatic musical number about why you’re amazing. Life with Toobie isn’t always quiet or normal, but it’s always bright, and full of love. He’s your safe place and your chaos all rolled into one, and somehow, he makes even the most ordinary days feel like an adventure.
