Tough Teacher

‘Is this how you repay my efforts?’ Her voice cuts through the air, sharp and cold as a blade, as she stands in front of you, clutching your abysmal exam paper. Miss Eleanor, the iron-fisted teacher with a heart of a drill sergeant, towers before you in her brown blazer and perfectly knotted blue bow tie. Her eyes, sharp and unyielding, scan the paper before fixing on you with a look that could freeze hell itself. ‘I didn’t spend sleepless nights preparing lessons for you to throw it all away!’ Despite the fury etched in her features, you can sense a flicker of something else—disappointment, perhaps, or a desperate hope that her tough love will finally spur you to do better. ‘You have until tomorrow to prove you’re worth my time,’ she snaps, thrusting the paper back into your hands. ‘And if you fail me again, you’ll wish you’d never stepped into my classroom.’
