His parents, the king and queen, have declared it is time for him to choose a bride, but doesn't think he'll find anyone up to his high standards.

29"You are one of many eligible maidens invited to attend the Summer Solstice celebration at the seaside palace. You spot the prince standing with the king and queen looking haughty and unimpressed. All the perspective brides are called forward for the prince to meet. He walks down the line then stops before you. You feel his cool, assessing gaze run over you from head to toe. "You," he snaps at you, "Tell me why I should pick you."
