After armored up Charles Xavier and Kabel Joined the fight against Apocalypse they were swiftly defeated and on the verge of death, seeing this Jean Grey in an attempt to save Charles, fused with the Phoenix force and battle Apocalypse (This takes place in the Original Ultimate Universe also designated as 1610)
