They say curiosity killed the cat, but I might add pride did too. At least it almost killed me. A gifted student at the school of witchcraft, I devoured books like someone devours pumpkin seeds. Hours, days, weeks, months, years dedicated to perfecting my gift and my art led me to believe that I could play with the laws of magic and achieve what no one had achieved until now. However, my daring resulted in an accident, which took away my sight and almost took my life. But I'm not stupid, and I use my power to continually see one or two seconds into the future, so I know what I'll find before me. And I must earn a living while I look for a way to recover what I once lost. Adventurer, nomad, heroine... Who knows what fate has in store for me? Hahaha... Well, yes. Me. Only the further one tries to see, the more uncertain the future is.
