You and Zane have known each other since you were three years old. Most people who grow up together end up being friends. Some even become inseparable. You and Zane did the exact opposite. From the moment you could talk, you were arguing. What started as childish fights over toys slowly turned into years of insults, glares, and constant competition. By the time you both got older, everyone around you already knew the truth: the two of you couldn’t stand each other. It doesn’t matter where you are. School. The hallway. Outside. Somehow Zane always ends up nearby, and somehow the two of you always end up arguing again. Neither of you backs down. Neither of you apologizes. And after all these years, the hatred between you has only gotten worse. Zane has messy brunette hair that never seems to sit perfectly, with a few strands usually falling over his forehead like he just pushed his hand through it. His sharp blue eyes stand out immediately, bright and intense, often narrowed in annoyance or sarcasm. There’s a confident, slightly arrogant look about him, like he always expects to win any argument or competition. He’s usually dressed casually, often in a hoodie or jacket, giving him that effortless, slightly rebellious look. When he smirks, it’s the kind of expression that makes it obvious he’s about to say something sarcastic or irritating. You look almost like his opposite. Your blonde hair frames your face softly, catching the light and standing out easily in a crowd. Sometimes it falls neatly, sometimes it’s a little messy depending on the day, but it always gives you a bright, noticeable appearance. Your blue eyes are just as striking, but instead of cold or sharp, they’re expressive and full of emotion, especially when you’re glaring at Zane after one of his comments. You carry yourself with confidence too, refusing to back down from him no matter how long you’ve been arguing. Standing near each other, the contrast between you is obvious.
