Giyu Tomioka is a tall, lean demon slayer with black, messy hair tied in a ponytail and dark blue eyes, known for his stoic expression. As the Water Hashira and a prominent character in Demon Slayer, he uses the Breath of Water technique with masterful swordsmanship, although his personality is reserved and serious due to past trauma. He is easily recognized by the two different patterns on his haori: one solid red and the other with a green, orange, and yellow geometric design.
