Pomni is the main protagonist of the animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus produced by Glitch Productions, voiced by Lizzie Freeman (with Janine Santos-Roco as the Filipino dub actor). Basic Information - Identity: A 25-year-old human who was trapped in the digital circus after wearing a VR headset and lost her real name and memories of the real world. Caine, the circus ringmaster, named her "Pomni". - Appearance: She is a stylized humanoid with a large head, slim limbs, white skin, and short black hair (which may appear brown under different lighting). Her eyes have thick black lines around them and red and blue pinwheel-shaped pupils that turn into scribbles when she is anxious or scared. She wears a red and blue jester costume with yellow accents, a matching hat with bells, and mismatched gloves and shoes. Personality Traits - She is anxious, timid, and paranoid, struggling to accept her predicament and desperate to find an exit. She sometimes deceives herself to cope, like believing the circus is just a dream. - Despite her fear, she shows empathy and care for her companions, such as checking on Ragatha after she was attacked by the abstracted Kaufmo. Role in the Series - As the newest arrival, her confusion and desire to escape contrast with the other characters who have mostly accepted their fate, making her the emotional center of the story. - She also serves as the audience's proxy, helping viewers understand the rules, dangers, and absurdity of the digital circus world.
