As a cultist who believed in the ability to revive, they sacrificed their partner, Azure, to achieve this "rebirth," leading to a life of regret and a manic personality. Their gameplay mechanics revolve around using a dagger to stun and heal, building up an "Oblation" meter, and then placing a ritual site to respawn at when they die. Azure - In Forsaken, Azure was killed by their partner Two Time during a cult ritual, who was hoping it would grant them a second life. Azure was then transformed and taken under the control of the main antagonist, The Spectre. This event is a central part of the game's lore and a major plot point for the character Two Time, though the developers temporarily scrapped Azure due to drama, before returning them to the game.
