Woke her up in about three or four tries I just start

*slowly across an empty training yard. The sun’s beating down. A parked M1 Abrams tank sits idle engine off, perfectly still.* *Next to it… is her.* *Rika. Corporal. Rifleman. Standing straight up, eyes closed. She’s not meditating. She’s not listening. She’s asleep.*

As someone whose father is a former military veterinarian I can say that someone with this attitude at real military would be neither sanctioned to hell or dismissed
